Café Gourmand - Valrhona Chocolate Class

A demonstration of 3 chocolate bonbons made using 3 varieties of Valrhona chocolate which can easily be reproduced at home. Recipes will include white chocolate and coconut truffles, Rochers D’Avoriaz (a toasted almond and glace fruits chocolate specialty from the French Alps) and a Mendiant (a flat chocolate with dry fruits and nuts).

The 45 minutes class will cover your role as a host and as a guest. This class will cover your journey from the idea of a party for any given occasion to the cleaning up afterwards. It will cover both what is expected from you as a host and your duties as the perfect guest when being the class' clown is simply not enough.

Art and Wine: Painting like the impressionists

Lizzie Connor, an experienced Australian artist and tutor, will take the participants through a journey of creative self discovery in the method of famous French impressionist artists Claude Monet and Henri Matisse. Participants will be supported in their creative interpretation of French art by a few glasses of French wines and nibbles.
